1. Information We Collect

When you register with Vidya Group of Institutions, we collect the following information:

• Full name, email address and mobile number
• Date of birth, gender and qualification (optional)
• Address details (city, state, pincode)
• Payment information (transaction reference numbers)
• Course progress and quiz attempt data

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To give you course access and issue certificates
• To verify payments
• To send you important updates and notifications
• To improve our service (anonymised analytics)

3. Mobile Application (Android App)

The Vidya LMS Android app uses the same account as the website. Through the app we access or collect:

• Google Sign-In (optional): If you sign in with "Continue with Google", Google shares only your name, email and profile photo with us — we never have access to your Google password.
• Account information: Name, email, mobile number and profile details — the same as on the website.
• Learning data: Course progress, quiz attempts, notes, certificates and ID card.
• Internet permission: The app needs internet permission only, so it can fetch courses, videos and data from our server. We do not access your contacts, location, SMS or files.

4. Third-Party Services

The app and website use a few trusted third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

• Google Sign-In — for login authentication.
• Razorpay — for secure online payments. Card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay; we never store them.
• Bunny Stream (CDN) — to deliver course videos securely.
• MSG91 — to send OTP and SMS messages.

5. Data Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are encrypted (hashed) — we never store them in plain text. Payment proofs are kept in secure private storage and are visible only to authorised admins.

6. Data Sharing

We never sell or share your personal data for advertising or marketing. Data is shared only in these cases:

• With the trusted service providers listed above (payment, video, SMS) — purely to run the service
• Where the law requires it (a court order or government requirement)
• For certificate verification — only the certificate ID and name are public

7. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Your Rights & Account Deletion

• See your data — from your Profile page at any time.
• Correct your data — update your details from Profile edit.
• Delete your account and data — request "Delete Account" from the Profile section of the app or website, or email us at admin@vidyacomputerlms.com. Your account and personal data are permanently deleted within 7 working days of the request, except legal and financial records we are required by law to retain.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are for skill development. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If such data reaches us by mistake, we delete it.
